Our mission at the Universal Canine Certification System (UCCS) is to unite with leaders in the pet care industry worldwide to:
Standardize safety certification and licensing requirements in the care of pets by raising the level of safety, sanitation, organization and maintenance in the pet grooming salon environment through the implementation of education by job positions.
Standardize education requirements to teach the art of bathing, grooming and styling pets by coat types to increase the knowledge and level of professionalism in the industry through the implementation of education by job positions.
Recognize all individuals participating in the Universal Canine Certification System for their achievements.
